This week we are still helping people on the streets of Venezuela. While the situation has been somewhat chaotic due to recent political movements by the Venezuelan opposition, we nevertheless took some space and decided to go out again in search of people who really need something to take home.

There is a lot of need in the streets but not all of them have a space in which to prepare food, most of them being street people. A few weeks ago, Zaxan bought a bulk of spaghetti, which he has been gradually distributing, making long daily walks and talking to people with few resources.

We hope in the future not only to distribute dry food but also to be able to deliver food already prepared for the support of as many people as possible. Likewise, with the help of @victoriabsb we are looking for particular cases in the state of Anzoategui in the east of the country to cover more areas and be able to help in cases of need.

You know people need help when their faces give you the message clearly. This gentleman, who did not want to give us his name for fear of some kind of reprisal or fear of going out in some political environment (common fear of many Venezuelans), sometimes wanders east of the capital. He asks for food or something to eat.

After talking with him we got to know him a little: he lives in one of the poorest areas of Petare, a neighborhood east of the capital known for its high dangerousness and crime rate, however, just like him, not everyone seeks to do evil, but prefer to go out into the street and get a soul of good faith to help them. As he himself says, “it is better to ask than to steal”. His health condition, even though we cannot see it in the image, is something tragic, since he has a fairly curved back and wanders with two crutches that help him walk because of a deformity in his legs.

He has no family to help him, so we support him by delivering 2 kg of spaghetti.
